Our history
The company was set up in the 1960s in Bronte, Sicily, as a small family-run business trading in pistachio, and is today a modern company on the cutting edge in the selection and production stages of nuts, well-established in Italy and well-known abroad as an exporter of finished and partly-finished products for the confectionery industry.
Our mission and technology
The safety of the food chain is guaranteed by continuous tests carried out in the HPLC and microbiological laboratories on our company premises, thus enabling quality monitoring of the nuts and the finished product through all the production stages. The Marullo company is certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Kasherut, and is also certified for organic products and the processing of the IGP Piedmontese hazelnut.
The Marullo brothers’ philosophy concentrates on continuing investments in study and research in the sector, and aims at fulfilling the strict quality parameters and developing new solutions for a vast and heterogeneous market.
International importance
Marullo’s expansion on international markets, which love the typicality of the regional products from our “Bel Paese”, is on a steady rise. The success of its exportations is due to the research activity carried out by highly specialised personnel, and the unique goodness and quality of our products must take the credit.
